Independent director at SoftEd, Martie-Louise Verreynne was recognised at the Partners in Research Excellence Awards last week for outstanding industry-UQ collaborations that have benefited industry and the community. Verreynne is the Associate Professor in Innovation at the University of Queensland Business School in Brisbane. Her research project focused on the development of evidence-based guidelines for government and has shaped policy to improve small business growth and sustainability through innovation.
