Exploring Non-Functional Requirements

Exploring Non-Functional Requirements
22 September 2021

In a perfect world, every system would run smoothly all the time. There would be no system failures, it would be responsive to all required actions, and it would never allow those that don't belong into the system. But these quality attributes of a system may not be attainable, or if they are, at an extreme cost. So how do we balance these competing characteristics?

In this free webinar, we look beyond the functional requirements and explore the various types of non-functional requirements, including quality attributes, design constraints and external interfaces, which can often be missed in a project.

During this hour-long session, you'll learn about:

  • How non-functional requirements fit within the context of different life cycle approaches
  • Ways to look for and apply non-functional requirements
  • Using provided checklists so you don’t miss these types of requirements in the future
  • Comparing and contrasting the different types of non-functional requirements to determine the appropriate balance based on project priorities.
