Never Gonna Give You Up - Persevering With Agile

Never Gonna Give You Up - Persevering With Agile
03 September 2021

The journey to becoming agile can be a long and challenging one. But patience and perseverance are the keys to reaping the benefits of working in an agile way. In the poignant and timeless words of Rick Astley, I'm "Never gonna give you up, Never gonna let you down, Never gonna run around and desert you."

In this free webinar, we'll run through the ways you can keep your eye on the prize and manage through the ups and downs of adopting an agile approach.

During this hour-long session, you'll learn about:

  • We're no strangers to love, You know the rules and so do I (Understanding the 'rules' of becoming agile)
  • I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling, Gotta make you understand (Collaboration, communication and clarity)
  • We've known each other for so long, Your heart's been aching, but you're too shy to say it (Unlearning patterns and ways of working to embrace the new)
  • Never gonna give you up, Never gonna let you down (Leveraging the power of agility)
  • Never gonna make you cry, Never gonna say goodbye (Persevering and staying the course to leverage the value of agility).

Brian Osman, Knowledge Engineer

I am an agile coach, tester, consultant, trainer, and speaker with over 18 years of experience in my craft. I started out as a software tester, managing test teams and speaking at global conferences about improving software testing practices by incorporating an agile approach.

I am most passionate about bringing the human side of agile to life in the classroom. Rather than teaching agile, scrum or Kanban by the book, I love weaving in stories to give a broader perspective. My other passion is producing a podcast with my brother-in-law called Epich Aotearoa.
