Sharon Robson,


Sharon Robson is a trainer and consultant at SoftEd, specialising in agile and lean principles and agile software testing practices. Her expertise lie in agile transformations, agile coaching, enterprise agility, leadership, strategic planning and aligning testing practices with agile approaches.

Sharon has extensive experience in planning and implementing transformation programs, focused on applying agile approaches to modern working practices both in technology and the wider business. She has worked as a facilitator, coach and consultant in many different industries across Australia, helping leadership teams to transform their organisations and, build high-performing teams; enabling them to work more effectively and efficiently together.

In 2010 Sharon was recognised by Software Test and Performance Magazine as one of the 13 most influential women in software testing. She was also a founding board member of the Australia New Zealand Testing Board (ANZTB) and the chairperson of the marketing working group for the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB).

With a strong focus on building industry-wide skills, Sharon participated in the development of the learning objectives for the ICAgile Agile Testing certification. She is a frequent speaker at industry events such as STANZ, ANZTB, Agile Australia, STARWest, SIGIST and TPN. She researches and writes articles and white papers on agility approaches and other business domains.
