John Dobbin,


John is a highly experienced digital transformation consultant, organisational behaviourist and Agile coach. In a career spanning 30 years he has helped a vast number of organisations around the world implement new technologies, systems and skill sets to radically improve their performance. His knowledge encompasses Business Analysis, Business Process Reengineering, Customer Experience Design, Design Thinking, Agile Delivery, Agile Business Leadership and Entrepreneurship.  

John has led large-scale transformation projects for organisations such as Ogilvy & Mather, LexisNexis, Oxford University Press, Marketforce, M&C Saatchi, STW Group, Blue Star, PMP Limited and News Corp. He was an early adopter of Agile and many helped clients to understand its benefits and embrace it for the first time. John's key strength is his ability to lead from the back, encouraging team members to stretch themselves while working with executives to set realistic expectations and provide an environment conducive to success.  

He has been a Director of numerous companies and was the founder of Nexus, a multi-award winning Systems Integration and Professional Services firm. He is a co-founder of The Organisational Misbehaviourists (a Hong Kong based firm tackling the causes of corporate toxicity), an adviser for several tech startups, and an MBA mentor at the University of Technology Sydney. He is also a regular speaker at conferences including Women in Tech, NexGen Government, PlaceLeaders APAC and the Sydney School of Entrepreneurship.
