What is the course like?

In solving one problem, agile has created a new bottleneck at the interface between development and operations teams (and others such as security teams), each having very different goals. DevOps has evolved as a way to bring these teams together and accelerate the delivery of value to the users and customers.
This course provides a solid foundation in DevOps for both business and technical personnel. Taking a holistic view, it looks at what is needed from the perspectives of the people and culture, the processes followed, and the technology used.
The experiences of organisations successfully applying DevOps is used to drive an evidence-based approach to change. Particular emphasis is placed on using value stream mapping to understand the big picture and identify any improvements to make.

ICAgile accredited course: The ICAgile Certified Professional, Foundation of DevOps is granted on the successful completion of this course. This certification is part of the ICAgile DevOps track along with our Agile Fundamentals and Implementing DevOps courses. We offer the complete ICAgile DevOps Track for those looking to become an ICAgile Certified Expert in DevOps (ICD-DO).
This course will contribute 14 PMI® Professional Development Units (PDUs) towards your chosen certification (7 technical hours and 7 strategic hours).
