We provide agile coaching support in two ways – supporting your teams with an experienced SoftEd coach, or building up your own internal coaching capability through our unique coaching academy.  We can offer coaching either in-person or live online.

Our Coaches

Our coaches will help you to adopt a new way of working by assisting to embed the mindset, principles and practices of agility. They will guide your through the change process, help you to speed up the time to the delivery of value, and address any blockers along the way.

Our coaching team are all experienced practitioners and are able to provide guidance on best practice whilst contextualising solutions to your unique organisation. 

We offer the following services:

  • Delivery team coaching: Coaching agile teams to establish self-organising cross-functional teams.
  • Program coaching:  Coaching to support a particular project/program initiative. This includes support of an agile adoption or agile transformation effort. 
  • Agile coach training: To build a cohort of internal agile coaches.
  • Leadership coaching: Coaching leaders to implement new ways of working and thinking to lead, guide and support an agile adoption.   

Our focus with any coaching engagement is knowledge transfer - building up in-house skills, experience and knowledge so that over time your organisation is self-sufficient.  

Virtual team coaching

Now more than ever, team members are working from home. But how do our practices need to change to fit this new way of working?

Once individuals start to get to grips with working from home rather than the office, they then need to establish new practices for working with their teams. To help you and your business to gear up to this new world, our new coaching service is designed specifically to help you to stand up your teams and technology seamlessly to get you started.  

Our sessions cover:

  • Aligning on team values and creating a team charter
  • Confirming methods of communication and avenues for feedback
  • Using tools to support communication and collaboration
  • Agreement on commitment to the team (availability etc)

Our seasoned coaches deliver this service remotely as an interactive LiveOnline session. We can provide both one off training/coaching for teams as well as further ongoing support for ScrumMasters and Team Leaders transitioning to a new way of working.


Your Coaches

Our facilitation and coaching program provides a comprehensive pathway for team facilitators/scrum masters and agile coaches. Through training, goal-setting, on-the-job practice and mentoring, we work with identified individuals to build their competency.  

Our coaching service is an end-to-end program that includes assessments, training, coaching, mentoring and coaching accreditation. It encompasses: 

  • Pre-program development 

  • Assistance with assessment and initial screening of internal agile coaches 

  • Development of a coaching competency framework and individual development plans 

  • Training in agile facilitation aligned to ICAgile's Certified Professional in Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF) and ICAgile's Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) 

  • Agile coach certification 
  • Mentoring to build capability as a team facilitator/scrum master and agile coach 

  • Preparation for ICAgile’s Certified Expert in Agile Coaching (ICE-AC) assessment   

  • The creation of a learning portfolio complete with learning journal, facilitation and coaching experience, and peer assessments
