Craig Smith joins the SoftEd team as the new Global Agility Lead

Software Education (SoftEd) are pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Smith as Global Agile Lead.

Mr Smith has over 20 years of experience as an agile practitioner, coach and trainer. He is a Director of the Agile Alliance Board, an advisor to the Agile Australia conference, and Director of the YOW! conferences. Mr Smith is an active agilist and regularly contributes to local meetups and local and international conferences. He is also an editor for InfoQ and hosts an agile podcast called the Agile Revolution.

He specialises in agile practices and principles, agile testing, agile programming and design, agile transformation strategies and agile health assessments and improvement strategies.   In his new role as Global Agility Lead, he provides a variety of services including the development and delivery of tailored courses, team coaching, workshop facilitation, and consulting in agile and business agility.

Mr Smith is a member of the Scrum Alliance, Senior Member and Certified Professional of the Australian Computer Society (MACS Snr CP) and Associate of the Australia Library Association (AALIA).

Mr Smith commenced the role in January 2019 and is based in Brisbane, Australia.
