ISTQB Foundation Exam Prep

Overview

If you’re thinking about taking the ISTQB Foundation exam, and looking for a short exam preparation course to boost your confidence and your score, this one-day course is for you. Special features of this course include the following:

• Participants receive a mock exam prior to the course, and the course starts with a debrief on the exam.
• After each chapter of the Syllabus is reviewed, participants will have a chance to try sample exam questions covering every learning objective for that chapter.
• During the course, participants will receive another mock exam, along with an answer key, for further practice.

These additional resources were created by Rex Black, President of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (www.istqb.org), President of the American Software Testing Qualifications Board (www.astqb.org), and co-author of the ISTQB Foundation Syllabus 2005.

In addition to the mock exams and sample questions covering every learning objective in the Syllabus, participants also receive copies of the ISTQB Foundation Syllabus 2005 and Glossary, detailed advice on how to prepare for the exam, and more.

• The ISTQB exam is set and administered by the ANZTB ( and New Zealand Testing Board) www.anztb.org
• In the cities where ANZTB does not hold a regular public exam, Software Education will provide an exam at the end of the public course.

Intended For

Designed for the experienced tester who needs a quick brush-up before the ISTQB Foundation exam and for the graduate of the Software Testing Foundation course who wants more practice before sitting the ISTQB Foundation exam.

Prerequisites

Participants must have a minimum of three years experience as software testers.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this course participants will be prepared to sit the ISTQB Foundation exam with confidence.
