Knowledge Engineer (Trainer / Consultant) – Software Testing
Because of strong, international growth, Software Education has an additional vacancy for a full-time trainer and consultant in software testing.
We are looking for an experienced senior software testing professional with a real passion for testing to join our team of trainers and consultants. We deliver training in conjunction with some of the world’s top minds in software development to a range of international blue-chip customers. You must be exceptional and have a strong practitioner background at senior levels in software testing. You must be prepared to travel some of the time in New Zealand and Australia. You will have (or be able to quickly attain) ISTQB certification at Foundation and Advanced levels. Good academic qualifications are an advantage.
The position primarily involves delivery of training courses but will also include course development and consulting work. Prior training experience is not essential, but you must be skilled at working with groups. This position will be based in our offices at Petone, Wellington.

Administration Assistant – temporary contract (Wellington)
Due to an existing employee planning on taking Parental Leave, we will have a vacancy for an Administration Assistant starting in late September for approximately 4 months. The term could be extended up to one year if the current employee elects to take extended parental leave. The role is full-time.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, cheerful and self-motivated person with some experience in customer service plus intermediate to advanced computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Email). There is a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail for this role. Experience with data entry into databases would be an advantage.
